Today, the Minnesota State Senate held a vote on S.F. No. 339 “memorializing the President of the United States and Congress to respect and not violate the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.”
Both Democrats and Republicans should be able to get behind this, right? Even Democrats who support gun restriction legislation claim that their proposed laws do not violate the Second Amendment. So, what is the problem?
In a 26-38 vote, Democrats voted down this bill which supports respecting and not violating the Second Amendment. Stunning.
