This hearing will be ticketed. Tickets will be given first to those testifying on S.F. 458, 557, 520, 400, 413 and 568. Remaining tickets will be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis to those in line outside of Capitol 15. There will be overflow seating in the Great Hall, Capitol 107, 112 & 123 where you can view the hearing. We will only be taking general public testimony on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 6-9 p.m. Please see that posting for directions on signing up to testify.

S.F. 503 Latz Firearm loss or theft false report criminalization; firearm transfer restriction; firearm possession ineligibility expansion.
S.F. 557 Cohen Firearms permits application mental health screening enhancement provisions.
S.F. 520 Latz Firearms voluntary registry; centralized registry maintenance and creation; law enforcement mandate to accept voluntary surrender of firearms and ammunition from persons on the voluntary register and return of the firearms and ammunition upon request.
S.F. 400 Brown Firearm Protection Act.
S.F. 413 Goodwin Firearms possession eligibility restoration for violent felons judicial process modification.
S.F. 568 Cohen Firearm possession eligibility restoration for certain ineligible persons judicial process modification; judicial challenge to denials of permits to carry a handguns modifications.
S.F. 339 Nienow Resolution memorializing the President and Congress to respect and not violate the second amendment to the United States Constitution for right to bear arms.
State law (section 609.66, subdivision 1g prohibits carrying a handgun in the state capitol without a permit to carry and giving proper prior notification to the commissioner of public safety. This is a felony offense that will result in immediate arrest for a violation. Please take care to fully comply with the law.
